A Covid-19 recovery certificate is an official document to confirm that an individual has fully recovered from Covid-19 and has no current symptoms. If you have tested positive for covid-19 recently, instead of risking another positive PCR test, you can obtain a Covid-19 Recovery Certificate for travel. To obtain a Covid-19 Recovery Certificate, you must have the following:

• a positive test result (PCR or lateral flow/antigen test) between 7 and 180 days ago (you need to check the requirement for your destination country as they might have different requirements). We cannot accept photos of the test kit as a proof of a positive test.
• Your test results must state your full name, date of birth and the test date (this is also referred to as specimen date or sample date).
• Your covid symptoms should be completely resolved at least 72 hours before this consultation.
• You will need to complete the online consultation and upload your proof of positive results and your passport photo. This will be reviewed by our medical team. Based on your consultation and the proof submitted of the positive test result, our medical team will either issue a Covid-19 Recovery Certificate, request further information or reject. You will be notified by email (to the email address that you provide during your consultation).

The terms "Covid Certificate", "Covid recovery certificate" and "Proof of recovery certificate" all refer to the same legal document/proof that states that the patient has fully recovered from Covid-19 and has no current symptoms of Covid-19.

The Covid-19 Recovery Certificate comes with a QR code for certificate verification but we are not affiliated or connected to any third party apps or systems. You may upload the certificate manually where possible but there are no guarantees that it will be accepted by the EU Covid Pass app or Verifly or similar apps. We recommend that you have a digital or paper copy or both with you when travelling. Having a paper copy also means that you do not have to worry about your battery running out.

The parent or legal guardian of a child must check that the child meets the criteria for a Covid-19 recovery certificate and that it is accepted by their travel destination. The parent or the legal guardian must complete the online assessment on behalf of the child.
