A 10 minute video appointment that you book in advance with a Health Advisor. They’ll walk you through taking your test and submitting your test results so that you can be sure of the outcome! This is required for travel to the USA, Canada and Australia
The USA entry requirements state that you must take a test no more than 1 day before you travel by air into the United States, so ensure that you book your test in the correct timeframe
Our supervised video consultations are available 7 days a week, from 8am to 10pm GMT. There's plenty of slots available, but we urge you to book as far in advance as possible to secure a convenient time.
The video consultation is only included in the 'Observered' lateral flow product. All you need to do is add the product to your cart and pay - as soon as you've done that, you'll be able to secure your video slot.
If travelling to the USA, Canada or Australia you will require an observed test.
A fit-to-fly certificate is a medical certificate signed by a doctor stating you are medically fit to travel. If you test negative, our doctor will issue you with a fit-to-fly certificate which is required for your return to the UK and for your departure from the UK for those unvaccinated and departing to certain countries. (Check the government website for full details).
We offer a money back gaurantee. If the courier fails to deliver on time or you feel we've let you down in anyway, just email our firendly support staff and they will arrange a refund.
Our Rapid Antigen (lateral Flow) tests detect the SARS-CoV-2 N protein. All of our tests can identify a positive infection as a result of the omicron variant.
Subject to which test kit you require, we recommend you order you test kit within 8 weeks of your departure/arrival date. If you require a departure test for leaving the UK, we recommend you order this at least 4 days prior to your departure date.
We ship on receipt of order and our cut off time is 3pm on the day of order (Monday to Friday). On check out you will be presented with three delivery options. Free (1 to 2 business days), Royal Mail Tracked 24 service (Next business day) or DPD Next Day. For Royal Mail Tracked and DPD you can track your order online.
Yes. If you test negative, our doctor will issue you with a negative certificate advising of your negative result. You can access this certificate via our portal, mobile apps and it is also emailed to you.
Your certificate is only valid for 72 hours post the time you took the test. Therefore, it is VERY important you take the test within 72 hours of your departure time. We recommend taking the test 48 hours before your departure time.
The UK government states that you cannot be issued with a Fit-to-fly certificate if you have a taken a test using the NHS testing kits. At Skyway Testing, our rapid antigen kits (lateral flow kits) are CE marked and approved by the UK (MHRA, DHSC) with 98.8% sensitivity, 97.1% specificity and approved for customer self-testing independently.
Entry back into the UK requires you to take the test 48 hours prior to your departure.

If your result is inconclusive, you must take another test. We will not issue a refund for an inconclusive test. If you are in the UK, we will issue a replacement test free of charge.
If you get a positive result, we will issue you with a positive result. You will need to follow public health guidance and that is set out in the email we send you when a positive test is detected.
